Ms. Ding is an active angel investor and a Managing Director of Golden Seeds, which is a discerning group of investors, seeking and funding high-growth women-led businesses. Prior to joining Golden Seeds, Ms. Ding was the co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Winco, a successful company specializes in import and distribution of tableware and kitchenware with over 250 full-time employees and $180 million in annual sales. She managed operations across all departments with COO responsibilities in addition to overseeing accounting, finance, and pricing for the company. Under Ms. Ding’s leadership, Winco maintained consecutive double-digit growth in the last 15 years, and it quickly became the nation’s top smallware provider and a leading brand in the foodservice industry. In December 2017, Winco was successfully sold to a private equity group. As the CFO, Ms. Ding led the due diligence process and actively involved in the transaction including post-acquisition transition and helping the new owners with six months of double-digit growth.
She has extensive experiences working with different commercial banks in the last 20 years to build the financing structure suitable for business needs in the import and distribution business sector. Ms. Ding graduated from Hunter College with a B.S. in accounting, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Pace University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.
