Robert is a senior technology & banking executive with over 35 years of technology and operations experiences with commercial banks.
Most recently, Robert served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Astoria Bank, which was successfully merged into Sterling National Bank. As Chief Information Officer, he was responsible for the implementation of information technology strategies throughout the organization. Robert first joined Astoria Bank in 1986 having served in various roles first in the internal audit department and then the information services department, to leading the entire IT platform for Astoria Bank.
Robert is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM); Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC); Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
